History of Hua Hin

Hua Hin is the oldest beach resort in Thailand and it opened in 1920 and gained its popularity with the help of experts from the social arena. It was guaranteed to be popular and accessible by the use of a railway line being constructed. The character that Hua Hin shows is due to its royal connection. There is an official residence for royals even today at the Klai Kangwon Palace. King Rama VII built a summer place at the resort. Then in 1928 he built the Klai Kangwon Palace.

The resort added an 18-hold golf course and wood piers for fishing. The Railway Hotel, which was built in 1923, has made Hua Hin have a unique atmosphere. Visitors who were regular clients had their own houses built along the beachfront, which allowed them to enjoy weekends. Another thing that made this resort an interesting place to stay was the fresh seafood, shopping, and relaxation. That allows people to have a complete holiday experience.
